So... this is a rather hectic, busy day for me, in which I have to do a lot of stuff and then run around and do more stuff, and then when that's over, I have to complete the ultimate challenge, which is to run around for so long, doing so much stuff that I'm liable to have an aneurism at any single moment. In fact, I can feel my heart pounding just thinking of all the running around and stuff I'm going to have to do.

So, suffice to say, I'm keeping the top half of this article relatively barren today. But don't worry! The energy that normally would be allocated here is instead being transferred to a mysterious mission that may or may not decide the fate of the universe. If this irks you, you are more than welcome to file a complaint to my personal email address: billgates@microsoft.com.

God, I almost began this paragraph with another "so." Note to self: avoid redundancy. Okay, well anyway, there weren't a whole lot of NBA games on yesterday, so today's fantasy basketball blurbage will be kinda light. You'd almost think I was I happy about that, wouldn't you? You know... what with all the running around and whatnot. Anywho...
  • Who's better than Kevin Love right now? The Timberwolves star proved he's the best power forward in the NBA by a mile, going for 30 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 three's and 3 blocks on Sunday. He might already be the best fantasy player in the NBA, but if he can actually become just an okay shot-blocker, he'll more or less destroy that argument once and for all. For now, he's in the discussion along with Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul and (when he's healthy) Anthony Davis.
  • Channing Frye had a good night on Sunday, making 7 of his 12 shot attempts for 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 three's. There's enough depth on the Suns' roster and Frye is enough of an injury liability that you can never really trust him. But he's awfully good when he's rolling like this.
  • Markieff Morris had a weak outing yesterday, going just 3-9 from the floor for 7 points and 4 rebounds. I'm the captain of the Markieff Morris Fanclub, but the Suns are having an improbably great season, and there's really no reason for coach Jeff Hornacek to shake up the lineup. Markieff -- and his brother Marcus -- are decent deep league options, but so long as they're coming off the bench, they're probably not going to be as productive as some of the other players on the waiver wire.
  • Glen Davis had 11 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks against the Thunder, which was underscored by a dislocated shoulder injury he sustained during the game. Davis returned to the game after getting his shoulder popped in (which looked really painful when I saw it done on The Walking Dead), so he's probably not going to miss any (or much) time from this. Which is good, because Tobias Harris is waiting eagerly in the wings to get back into Orlando's starting five.
  • Dwight Howard finally cooled down this week, finishing with a subpar 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks against the Kings. Order was also restored to the universe, as Howard went 5-13 from the foul line after hitting a three and going 7-7 from the line in his previous game.
  • Damion Lillard didn't shoot the ball well (6-21), but he still finished with 23 points, 7 assists and 3 steals, and he did manage to connect on a game-winning floater in the final seconds of overtime. Lillard is having just as good a year as Kyrie Irving, which is high praise to be sure.
  • I learned today that I've been misspelling Jon Leuer's name all along. It was literally only an hour ago that I learned that there's an 'e' between the 'u' and the last 'e' in his last name, which to me seems completely superfluous. But, hey, it's his name and I gotta adapt. So no more "Jon Leur" sightings on this particular website. No siree bob.
